MSQ19 Fully-automaticed Pure Steam Quality Tester

The quality of steam largely determines the effectiveness of the sterilization process, which in turn affects the quality of the final product. According to EN285 and HTM2010, the content of non-condensable gases, dryness, and overheat have a significant impact on the sterilization effect of steam. Therefore, the following requirements are needed for steam:

1. Non-condensable gas: Non-condensable gas can be mixed into pure steam during the preparation process, resulting in a mixture of steam and gas. The volume of non-condensable gas in 100 ml of saturated steam does not exceed 3.5 ml (equivalent to 3.5%, volume fraction);

2.Drying degree: The drying degree is a measure of the total amount of liquid water in steam. The lower the drying degree, the less potential heat released during sterilization. Currently, most drying degree detection methods are approximate. For the sterilization of metal carriers, the drying value should not be less than 0.95; for the sterilization of non-metal carriers, the drying value should not be less than 0.9;

3.Overheat: When pure steam is released to atmospheric pressure, the overheat does not exceed 25 ℃.
